When I listened to the songs of my album "Big Goddess Legacy," a vivid scene unfolded in my mind. I envisioned a car's wide-open trunk with music blaring from the speakers. The car itself was a sparkling green Donk Chevy, adorned with oversized rims that added to its eccentricity.

As I immersed myself in the music, I observed various snapshots of life. An elderly lady sat peacefully on a porch, exuding a sense of wisdom and experience. A police officer conducted a routine traffic stop, maintaining law and order in the community. The sight of people protesting highlighted the tumultuous nature of the world we inhabit. The presence of chaos, further exacerbated by the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, permeated my vision.

The music transported me to the old South, particularly Florida, where I roamed through the streets of my nostalgic neighborhood. A glimpse into a kitchen revealed a collective vision of women passionately cooking, reminiscent of the nurturing spirit that flows through generations.

This album served as a heartfelt tribute, encapsulating my love and longing for everything and everyone I have lost. The cover art featured a photo of my beloved granny, a memento that symbolized the strength and resilience embodied by the women in my family. Through our family, her legacy lives on.
